About us
Anchored at the confluence of the Sava and the Danube, below Kalemegdan in the immediate vicinity of the Nebojša Tower, is located the fish restaurant Vodenica, the first raft restaurant of its kind in old Belgrade.
Our authentic fish restaurant on the water got its name because of the oak beams, taken from the more than 370-year-old mill. Hence our name, since vodenica is a Serbian word for a watermill.
Sun, rivers, view of the greenery of the Great War Island - you will experience Belgrade in a new way from the terrace of the restaurant Vodenica.
When you are in the mood for fish and good wine, Vodenica will wait for you every day from 12:00 am to 23:00 pm.

For appetizers, try grilled Homolj cheese and homemade spicy Bačka kulen sausage. As for the appetizers, in addition to the traditional fish soup, you can also try one real delicacy at our restaurant - white carp caviar.
Sweeten your lunch with a traditional dessert, such as Šumadija prunes stuffed with walnuts in wine or choose a homemade pie.

Every summer on the quay near Nebojša Tower, we are organizing Fish Fest Belgrade in cooperation with the association "Dunav u srcu" and the municipality of Stari grad.
Since 2007, we have been gathering the best chefs of river and sea specialties, with a music and entertainment program for visitors.
Fish Fest Belgrade is a celebration of love for the river, good food, and a great atmosphere.
